Axe of the Blood God is our weekly RPG podcast hosted by Kat Bailey and Nadia Oxford. You can find the previous episodes here.

Thanksgiving is a few days way, but we're starting the feast early with reviews of two of the biggest RPGs of the year: Fallout 76 and Pokemon Let's Go [download link here]!

In the first segment, Nadia and I get together to talk about Pokemon's new direction. Does the original game hold up? Is it too kiddie? Just how cute is Eevee? We break it all down. In the second, Mike joins us to talk about the newly-announced Final Fantasy XIV expansion, then digs deep into Fallout 76. Bethesda's new foray into multiplayer has already proven controversial in some quarters, and we definitely have our share of issues with its overall direction. Find out why as we discuss whether Fallout 76 is worth checking out.

It's an RPG double-whammy as Nadia and Kat talk about why Pokemon Let's Go works so well, and reviews editor Mike Williams discusses why Fallout 76... uh... doesn't. It's a mixture of cute cuddly monsters and the post-apocalyptic in an episode that should have something for everyone. Special bonus: We discuss the newly-announced Final Fantasy XIV expansion and the introduction of the Blue Mage!
