Maple Story publisher posts 59% revenue jump

Nexon America has announced a hefty increase in revenue during the quarter ending March 31, over the same period last year.

Massively reports the Atlantica Online, Combat Arms, Dungeon Fighter, Maple Story, and Vindictus publisher boasted of a 59 percent jump over Q1 2010 results.

The MMO specialists made a note of a historical trend for lower activity during the first quarter than the rest of the year, suggesting Nexon may have a big 2011 ahead of it.

Upcoming releases include Dragon Nest and its first Facebook title, Maple Story Adventures.

Nexon's primary arm is based in Korea, but the company also has major off-shoots in China, Japan and Europe.
