The Legend of Bum-bo, the long-awaited prequel to indie hit The Binding of Isaac, will launch to PC and Mac on November 12.

Stylistically-speaking, Bum-bo is appears very different to The Binding of Isaac. Where Isaac offered pixel-based top-down, twin-stick gameplay, Bum-bo is a turned-based papercraft world.

The game features combat that adopts match-four puzzle gameplay, combining it a series of attack and defense spells. You can check it out in action below, along with a few glimpses of other characters.

McMillen first announced the title back in 2016. Originally planned for 2017 release, the game has since been delayed a few times. While its launch was initially planned for 2018, delays pushed that date to this year.
