Catan VR launches Tuesday on PSVR

The VR adaptation of the classic board game Settlers of Catan launches Tuesday, June 25 for PSVR.

Catan VR is a collaboration between the Catan and Asmodee digital teams, and it allows you to play Klaus Teuber's revolutionary title by yourself, with friends, or with players online. You can already play the VR version with Gear VR and Oculus devices, but on Tuesday the game comes to PSVR for the first time.

The game's single-player mode lets you choose the type of playstyle you want with different AI acting as different difficulty levels. For a casual game, you'll want to play with Mary Anne, whereas players looking to test advanced strategies will want to play with Jin. Adapting the board game to VR allowed the developers to give each AI unique "tells," too, as if you were playing against real opponents.

Catan VR is currently $14.99 on Steam and will likely have the same price when it reaches PS VR.
