Catherine: Full Body to prove dating is a nightmare this September
Catherine: Full Body has a release date, so buckle up for a wild ride come September.
Catherine: Full Body is a remastered version of 2011’s Catherine, and it's coming to PlayStation 4 this summer.
The game will include improved visuals and gameplay, new music, and enhanced multiplayer options.
If you played the original, you will find new, branching story paths this time out centering around the arrival of "the mysterious amnesiac, Rin." Dozens of new cutscenes and animated cinematics have also been added. Catherine: Full Body also features over 500 puzzles, which is twice that of the original game.
Plus, the new Arrange Mode will add "complex linked blocks" to original familiar levels, which will provide you with additional strategies.
If a dating sim is more you're thing, there's always Safety Mode which allows you to skip any puzzle.
Finally, if you played Catherine previously, you 'll be pleased to know the full main voice cast returns. Those new to the game should know Troy Baker plays Vincent, Catherine is voiced by Laura Bailey, and Michelle Ruff lends her voice to Katherine.
Brianna Knickerbocker takes on the role of Rin, the new lady who shows up in Vincent's life.
Atlus also announced the Heart's Desire Premium Edition which comes with all sorts of collectibles.
Available for $79.99 or the regional equivalent, items are housed in a Collector’s Box reminiscent of the looming tower from Vincent’s nightmares. Inside the box you will find the following:
- Sheep Plush: This 5" fluffy Sheep Plush happens to be sporting Vincent's pink polka dot boxers. It's super cute.
- Soundtrack CD: Contains a compilation of musical tracks from Catherine: Full Body.
- Hardcover Art Book: Featuring lead designer Shigenori Soejima’s illustrations
- Metal Case: Metal game case featuring Rin, Catherine, and Katherine.
Pre-orders and first-run copies of Catherine: Full Body will include a collectible metal case featuring Rin, Catherine, and Katherine.
Both the Catherine: Full Body ‘Heart’s Desire Premium Edition’ and Launch Edition will release in the west on September 3.
