Early Access for Fortnite starts in just a couple of weeks, so take three minutes out of your day and give this cinematic trailer a watch.

Fortnite was announced by Epic Games back when the world was first created, er, no, make that 2011. Seems that long ago at any rate. The action building game was originally slated for release on PC only, but things changed as development progressed.
Starting later this month those looking forward to Fortnite can jump into paid Early Access on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
In Fortnite, players are tasked with building rickety structures with traps to hold off hordes of monsters trying their best to kill you, which is what monsters typically do. Gathering resources is the end-all be-all of your existence, so make sure you are gathering as much as possible in your spare time. Just pick and choose wisely.
There will be various abilities to add to the skill tier when leveling, missions, hidden treasure, blueprints, weapon schematics, the ability to trade with co-op partners, and more. Arekkz went over the basics in a video released at the end of June. If you missed it, give it a whirl.
A beta for Fortnite was originally slated for 2013 before being pushed into 2015. There was, however, an alpha held for the game in 2014 , and a second one in March 2015.
If you are interested in Early Access, prices range from $39.99 to $149.99 depending on the option chosen.
Those who pre-order the Founder's Pack can start playing on July 21, while those who didn't opt for the pack can start on playing on July 25.
A concrete release date for Fortnite hasn't been set, but it will will a free-to-play title.
