Joe Madureira and former Darksiders devs take Battle Chasers: Nightwar to Kickstarter

Battle Chasers: Nightwar is in development at Airship Syndicate, a new development company started by former Darksiders developers Vigil Games.

Comic Book artist Joe Madureira, who worked on the Darksiders series, is on board as well. The game is based on his series Battle Chasers.

The team is looking for $500,000 to develop the game, which is an RPG inspired by "classic console greats.

It features "deep dungeon diving, turn-based combat presented in a classic JRPG format, and tons of secrets, story and randomly-generated replay goodness."

Nightwar is currently planned for a December 2016 release on PC through GOG and Steam.

Once the initial funding goal has been met, Xbox One and PS4 versions will be added as stretch goals.
