Rymdkapsel coming to Linux, Mac and PC in enhanced form next year

Stripped-back RTS Rymdkapsel is making the jump to Linux, Mac and PC next year after finding success on mobile platforms.

Polygon reports the enhanced version is due in January, and will include two new game modes, new monoliths, new missions and an extended soundtrack.

It will be available through Steam as well as in DRM-free form; the latter will have “some extra goodies”.

Rymdkapsel released in May on PlayStation Mobile before trotting over to Android and iOS in August; it has now sold 200,000 copies in total.

Rymdkapsel has been in the news quite a bit recently; it’s part of PlayStation Mobile’s latest giveaway scheme and it was included in the latest Humble Bundle for Mobile. But way back when it launched it was a top seller on the PS Mobile charts, and was nominated for an IGF.
