Harvest Moon creator Yasuhiro Wada’s new game, HomeTown Story, has been confirmed for localised release.

The localisation comes courtesy of Natsume in the US and Rising Star in Europe.

No release date has been set, but we’re promised more information at E3 2013 in June.

Pocket Gamer reports the village shop sim is headed to 3DS and mobile platforms; it’s not clear what that means – perhaps iOS and Android – but a representative said the sim “will be on one or more at launch”.

HomeTown Story was recently re-titled after a reveal as Project Happiness at E3 2012. It’s had a graphical overhaul since announce thanks to Pokémon designer Atsuko Nishida.
