US PS Store update - Stranger's Wrath, Karateka, Burn the Rope, Sonic Racing
This week's PlayStation Store update has a bevy of new Vita games for USA members - Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, Burn the Rope and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. Plus, the Angry Birds Trilogy pack and Jordan Mechner's Karateka.
In addition to the titles mentioned above, the Vita also nabs Knytt Underground, and PSP titles Jetpack Joyride and Defenders of the Mystic Garden are now available on the Vita storefront.
For the PlayStation 3, there are three new full games - Batman: Arkham City, Heavy Fire: Afghanistan, and LEGO: Lord of the Rings.
Retro fans get a look in with three of six Rockstar games outed just today - Red Dead Revolver, BUlly, and Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition Remix. Hotel Mogul joins the Minins collection, and Karateka is joined by Labyrinth Legends, Knytt Underground and Zpmbie Driver HD to round out this week's downloadable games offering.
However, you can also chuck in a pre-order for DMC: Devil May Cry and Metro: Last Light. The latter includes a free upgrade to the Limited Edition Ranger Pack.
The thrifty will be pleased to learn there's a huge pile of sales, but there's also a couple of new bundles: Dogfight 1942, Sega Heritage Collecton, Sonic the Hedgehog Episode I + II, Sports Champions 2 + Deadmund's Quest Bundle, Zombie Driver HD + Soundtrack, and Pure Chess Festive Bundle.
There are two new apps - Pulse Elite Manager and Totalmovie - and the Zombie Driver HD and Papa & Yo soundtracks are up, too.
The PlayStation Plus side is short - just one full free game, Anomaly Warzone Earth - but it includes a hefty additional discount on PlayStation Holiday Essentials titles.
Demo-wise, we have Sound Shapes; Fuel Overdose; Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2013; Dogfight 1942; Karateka; The Unfinished Swan; When Vikings Attack! and Zombie Driver HD.
There's also amsses of DLC, for LittleBigPlanet 2, Motorstorm RC, Angry Birds Trilogy, Dead or Alive 5, Guardians of Middle Earth, Jeopardy, Just Nance 4, Medal of Honor: Warfighter; Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Rock Band 3, Rocksmith, Sleeping Dogs, Sniper Elite V2, Wheel of Fortune; Rage, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
