Lovefilm launches streaming HD content

Lovefilm's announced the availability of HD streaming content on streaming devices, including consoles.

Select content can now be streamed up to 1080P on PC and Mac

On console, Xbox 360 owners can get up to 720P. HD streaming for PS3 users is set to launch at a later date in time.

"Lovefilm is the number one consumer choice for subscription film and TV series streaming in Europe," said managing director Jim Buckle.

"The introduction of HD quality content further strengthens the offering and marks another key milestone in delivering our members the best possible service with exceptional value.”
