Do puzzle games need stories? Crush 3D has one, and this story introduces it while also giving you a run down on the Sega 3DS exclusive’s gameplay.
The game’s main conceit is the ability to “crush” the world from 3D to 2D and vice versa in order to navigate each level, of which there are more than 50, representing aspects of Danny’s mind.
Other features include collectible marbles which unlock bonus content, trophies, a challenge mode, a hint system, and Streetpass integration.
Crush 3D drops on February 9 next year.
