It didn’t take fans long to crack the Deus Ex ARG to find out about the upcoming “Missing Link” DLC, and it took even less time for Square-Enix to confirm it and put a date on it.

As we reported yesterday, Deus Ex fans sliced through Square Enix’s ARG with ease, and now Square Enix is confirming all of their findings.

They’re now saying that the DLC “Missing Link” will arrive in October. It will be a chance to re-spec for players unhappy with their character build. Players will start with no augmentations at all and will have to rebuild as they go.

Square Enix wrote on their official site, “After being tortured by Belltower agents and having his augmentations disabled, Adam Jensen must rely solely on his basic capabilities to escape from a freighter, destined for an unknown location. While fighting for his survival on the ship, he uncovers another layer to the conspiracy that he never would have suspected.”

New environments and characters are expected in the forthcoming content pack.
