Codemasters CEO Rod Cousens has told MCV that F1 2011 will be more then just the inclusion of new tracks and drivers.

He’s said to the site next year’s title – already confirmed by the publisher earlier this year – will extend the life of the IP next year with an already-confirmed browser title and a game on all mainstream platforms that is being aimed at “very young kids”.

Cousens also said the title will appear on new handheld platforms. 3DS and PSP2, then?

There’s a full feature with Cousens here.

F1 2010 released earlier this year for PS3, 360 and PC. The racer debuted at number one in the top spot.
