Gamestrata includes online rankings in Facebook

By Patrick Garratt
7 February 2008 06:46 GMT, the game rankings service, confirmed today that users will now be able to include their stats in their Facebook pages. You can now set up leaderboards with Facebook friends and put your entire Gamestrata profile on your Facebook page. Zowee. The site is planning to allow Bebo and MySpace users to be able to do the same soon.

“Playing games online is as much about the other players as it is about the game itself,” said Lance Smith, CEO of GameStrata. “Whether playing cooperatively or competitively, gaming has always allowed players to form connections to the folks on the other side of the screen. Bringing GameStrata’s suite of community tools to an incredibly active network like Facebook provides an enormous benefit to users of both.”
