PlayStation All-Stars DLC includes Heavenly Sword and Wipeout mashup
An upcoming DLC pack for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will include a new stage in addition to previously announced characters. IGN reports the new environment is a mashup of Heavenly Sword and Wipeout, and has a couple of screens to prove it. We can but hope this means a hovercar is the next playable brawler. The DLC is expected in early 2013 and will be free for the first two weeks post-launch.

Toro Inoue, Tekken’s Heihachi Mishima added to PlayStation All-Stars roster
Sony has add two new characters to the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale roster: Tekken’s Heihachi Mishima and Toro Inoue, the later is also known as Sony Cat in Japan. Heihachi comes with signature moves such as Electric Wind God Fist and Twin Pistons, while Toro Inoue will make use of a stance-based fighting style and can be used in both close and ranged combat. Check out videos for both below. PlayStation All-Stars will release on October 23 in the US, October 24 in most of Europe, October 25 in Australia and New Zealand, and October 26 in the UK & Ireland.

PS All Stars: Battle Royale gets first Vita shots
Sony’s released the first screens of the Vita version of PlayStation All Stars; Battle Royale. The handheld version was announced the Sony press conference on Monday and will come with cross-play support between it and the PS3 version. The new screens also show new characters, BioShock’s Big Daddy and Uncharted’s Nathan Drake.
