Hit up the Deadpool website to hear the merc with the mouth announce his own game. Nolan North provides Deadpool’s charming tones, as he is legally required to appear in 75% of all games. The new High Moon Studios effort was announced at San Digeo Comic Con; check out the first trailer here. It’s due in 2013.

Long-serving Optimus Prime voice actor Peter Cullen and the ubiquitous Mr Nolan North head-up the list of vocal talent for High Moon Studios’ upcoming action sequel.

Nolan North has said in a Eurogamer interview he’s to appear in the next Star Trek movie. North’s role, a cameo, came about after coming across director JJ Abrams whilst doing Super 8, with the Lost and Alias creator and his son two of North’s many fans thanks to the Uncharted series and his appearances as Nathan Drake.

A couple of weeks ago, Eric Ladin, the voice and mocap actor for Cole McGrath, tweeted he would be reprising his role as the inFamous hero in an unnamed project. Today, he has tweeted that project is PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, and he even said that Uncharted’s Nathan Drake and Metal Gear’s Snake will be in the game as well. While he didn’t mention the later two by name, he mentioned Nolan North and David Hayter, which is damn close enough. Sony has yet to announce whether all three will be in the game or not. One of the first mods to roll off the assembly line enabled by the recently-released Skyrim Creation Kit is a neat little effort by Valve, celebrating the modding community’s intended close relationship with Steam Workshop. The Fall of the Space Core, Vol. 1 adds the Space-loving Portal 2 core as a companion, and apparently also Nolan North.

“We’re lucky because we live in LA, and all the actors are very close. He’ll come in, he’ll read the scripts with us, do a table read with the other actors. It’s not just him; all the other actors are integral like this. We’ll do a table read and they’ll all give notes – ‘I think I’d do this,’ or ‘We should do it like that’. We’ll take all that stuff into consideration. When Amy [Hennig, Naughty Dog's creative director] is writing she says she always tries to hear Nolan in her head. And then even more integral than that, at the very end of the process when we’re almost done, we’ll take done gameplay segments where a designer will play a level, and then Nolan will straight-up play it as Drake. He’ll watch what’s going on and react to it. A lot of those one-liners that you hear is just him riffing.” – UC3 director Justin Richmond, speaking to Videogamer, about Nolan North’s involvement in the series.

It can’t be declared gold until the certification process is through, but Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is finished.

In the video, you can clearly see the Nathan Drake Statue, Drake’s belt buckle and ring/necklace replicas and the Steelbook game case encased in the Travelling Chest.
