PES 2014 has a new trailer available showing off over 6 minutes of the features in the game. It’s out in September on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Just Add Water would love the opportunity to re-make the classic Metal Gear Solid using the Fox Engine, and have penned an open letter to Hideo Kojima expressing such interest.

Hideo Kojima would like an external studio to remake the original Metal Gear Solid using the Fox engine. Speaking in a roundtable interview at E3 2013 attended by GameReactor, Kojima said he is looking for a third-party team to do the work. He said some of the mechanics would need updating, but it would be exciting for him, especially after Silicon Knights’ Gamecube adaption Twin Snakes and HD releases of the original game turned out well. This week we got to see a presentation from Kojima and co., and aside from discussing Metal Gear Solid 5 they also showed off that game’s new engine, the FOX Engine. And, I should say, it really does look nice. Click through for a short video demonstrating its graphical fidelity.

Hideo Kojima is editing a trailer at the moment, and he took time out to tease it on Twitter. The Internet is buzzing about it being for The Phantom Pain, a game shown during the VGAs last year, and it just so happens to be getting a new trailer next week during GDC. You decide of it is or not based on the image. Thanks, Gematsu.

According to MetalGearSolid.nl‘s translation of an interview on MetalGearSolid.be, Kojima Productions’ Ken Imaizumi said Hideo Kojima’s GDC presentation will be livestreamed. GDC sessions are normally filmed and made available after the show, but Kojima’s presentation is unusual in another way, being 90 minutes long. Kojima will discuss the FOX Engine and show footage of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, so cross your fingers for word we’ll all be able to tune in. GDC runs March 25 through 29, and Kojima’s presentation is scheduled for 11:00 AM PT March 27.

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will be shown during Hideo Kojima’s GDC ’13 session, along with his studio’s FOX Engine. Originally, Kojima was only going to show off the engine, but thanks to an extended slot, he is showing off more of the game live.

Hideo Kojima will detail the FOX Engine for first time through a demonstration featuring Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes at GDC. The session, “Photorealism Through the Eyes of a ‘Fox’ – The Core of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes” will show some of the “key components and unique methods” used in the game’s development, according to GDC organizers. The talk will focus on the lighting system, environmental elements, and character realism among other things including the FOX Engine tools. Technical director Junji Tago, lighting artist Masayuki Suzuki, and CG art director Hideki Sasaki will join Kojima on stage. GDC takes place March 25-29 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
