Capcom is now offering the PC version of Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record through EA’s digital distribution service, Origin. Both games are priced at $40, as they are on on Steam.
THQ also recently jumped on the Origin wagon with Saints Row: the Third.

The Cosplay Warrior Skills DLC pack for Dead Rising 2: Off the Record hits the US today and the UK tomorrow. To give you an idea of what exactly a Cardboard Helmet and matching armor constitutes, Capcom has released a video which should explain things a bit. The DLC also includes special gameplay boosts along with the silly outfit, and will run you $1.99/160 MPS.

Capcom’s released brand new ‘BBQ Chef’ DLC for Dead RIsing 2: Off The Record, which gives “extra moves with various knives, extra health boosts from grilled foods, deadly attacks with condiments, bigger explosions.” We got lost at the part it said “grilled foods,” but you can get it for $1.99 or 160 MS Points. Capcom has released a new video for Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, which shows of the a combo weapon in the game called: the Pegasus. What this hobby-horse does, is allow the player to “send zombies cascading majestically into the heavens,” and even better, lets you impale them with it. Off the Record is scheduled for release on October 11. Check out the video below.

Capcom has detailed Dead Rising 2: Off the Record’s Sandbox Mode which will allow players to explore the casinos, restaurants, malls and new Uranus Zone without any time constraints. Challenges placed throughout the city will also allow folks to earn additional for cash pawn shops and vending machines purchases around Fortune City. These challenges will range from Ranging vehicle-based challenges to zombie massacre challenges, and even collection challenges. The higher the rank in each, the more cash netted. Off the Record is scheduled for release on October 11. Check out the screens and trailer for the mode below.

Capcom’s announced its full line-up for PAX, announcing it’s bringing Street Fighter x Tekken, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter III: Third Strike – Online Edition, Street Fighter IV: Volt for iOS, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Resident Evil: Revelations, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, Dragon’s Dogma and Asura’s Wrath. All games will be playable at Booth #3425 to those attending the Seattle event this weekend

Capcom’s announced on its European blog that Dead Rising 2 re-imaging Off the Record will launch on October 11 in the US and October 14 in the UK for PS3, 360 and PC. The game lets you revisit DR2 and play as Dead Rising 1 protagonist Frank West in Fortune City. Steph took a look at it for Captivate. There’s a bit on it here.
