The open-world survival game combines first-person shooting with survival horror, tower defense, and RPG elements. It also contains crafting elements, looting, mining, exploration world-building and other fun mechanics.

7 Days to Die was a Kickstarter success in 2013, and is currently in early access on Steam.

The game will be released digitally and physically on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One June 28. It will be a digital only title in Europe on that day, but can be purchased at retail on July 1 for $29.99 or the regional equivalent.

On console, the game will sport a new multiplayer mode and local split-screen co-op. It is currently available for pre-order and doing so will net customers exclusive access to five character skins from Telltale The Walking Dead including Michonne and Lee Everett.
