UK charts - Street Fighter 5 can't beat Street Fighter 4 week one sales, Black Ops 3 breaks another record

Nothing can move Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 from the top of the UK charts, not even Street Fighter 5.

With the release of Street Fighter 5 last week, the UK sales charts have surprisingly not seen much movement.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has had its 11th week at the top, breaking the previous record held by Modern Warfare 2 of nine weeks. In Modern Warfare 2's case, it was nine consecutive weeks. As for Black Ops 3, the game now holds the most top spots of any other game in the franchise.

Street Fighter 5 came in at No.2, but first week sales didn't match those of Street Fighter 4 back in 2009. Street Fighter 4 debuted at No.1 at the time, having launched on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

This isn't necessarily bad news for Capcom, as the game's digital sales could have been a factor. There's also the fact it's launching on one less platform.
