Lara Croft: Relic Run is popular - like 10M downloads popular

Lara Croft: Relic Run has been downloaded more than 10 million times on mobile devices since it launched in May, and Square Enix is celebrating the milestone with additional content.

The new content will allow players to explore a new Mountain Pass location, use a snowmobile to "beat yetis and ice spiders," and Lara can now make use of a powerful mini-gun.

This weapons will help "protect players against the New Demon," which shoots ice obstacles into their path.

Also added to the game is an improved tutorial, new campaign map and campaign mode which provides new levels to with objectives to complete and relics to collect in order to unlock a new location.

Lara Croft: Relic Run is available through Google Play and the App Store.

The update is also coming to Windows Phones "soon."
