Xbox One controller wireless adapter available for PC next week

Microsoft has finally revealed the release date for the little dongle you'll need if you want to use the Xbox One controller on PC wirelessly.

Xbox-One-System Update

The Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows, as Microsoft calls it, will be available for purchase starting next Tuesday, October 20.

The Xbox site now also has a product page for it, listing compatibility details and such. It's priced $25 in the US, and £20 in the UK.

The biggest caveat buyers should note is that this dongle will only work with Windows 10, at least officially. This, along with the Xbox App on the OS, will allow users to emulate the Xbox One experience on PC. Things like party chat, or headphone support through controller will be possible.
