Kerbal Space Program is coming to PS4

Kerbal Space Program has been confirmed to be in development for PlayStation 4.

Kerbal Space Program is coming to PlayStation 4, developer Squad has announced. The developers posted a short FAQ on their forums following the announcement, to try and put some worries some PC players have to rest.

In it, they explain that they've received plenty of fan requests to bring the game to PS4. The flexibility of the Unity engine and the fact that they won't be compromising the player experience when adapting the game to a controller, helped them reach that decision. Flying Tiger Entertainment will help with development duties.

The post adds that the PS4 version won't be a "lazy port," and that working on it won't affect the ongoing development of the PC version.

There was no release window given, but that's to be expected, as it's probably still very early.
