Nintendo WonderCon line-up announced along with amiibo tournament

Those attending WonderCon Anaheim this weekend should stop by the Nintendo booth and get hands-on time with Splatoon and Xenoblade Chronicles 3D and other titles.

Along with playtime opportunities, Nintendo will also host the first of several amiibo tournaments. To enter, just show up with your figurine at the firm's booth to compete in Super Smash Bros. on 3DS or Wii U.

Nintendo will choose 32 players at random for each tournament session from each tournament’s participant pool. Winners will win a variety of different amiibo figures, with those coming in first place receiving the Mario – Gold Edition from the Super Mario series.

  • Splatoon (Wii U)
  • Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. (3DS)
  • The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D (3DS)
  • Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition (3DS)
  • Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (3DS)
  • Xenoblade Chronicles 3D (New 3DS XL)

WonderCon takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center April 3-5.
