The app will be made available later today on PSN, for both PS3 and PS4. It will be limited to the US, Canada and Latin America.

Plex allows users to stream movies, music and photos across their home network. This version will only allow video streaming on launch, with the rest to be added later.

The app is currently available only to Plex Pass subscribers, but the developer promises another version to be made available in the future, for a fee, to those who don't have a Plex Pass.

The app came to Xbox One back in October.
