Theatrical release for Hitman: Agent 47 moved into summer 2015

Fox International has moved the release of the next Hitman flick from February to summer 2015.

As noted on Screen Rant, instead of a February 27 release, Hitman: Agent 47 will now arrive in theaters on August 28.

The film stars Rupert Friend of Homeland fame as the titular bald hitman with the red tie, and American Horror Story's Zachary Quinto - also known as Spock in the new Star Trek films, will play the lead villain.

Agent 47 also stars Hannah Ware (Boss, Betrayal) enlists the help of Agent 47 to find her father and "uncover the mysteries of her ancestry."

Hitman: Agent 47 is being directed by Aleksander Bach.
