Super Smash Bros. Wii U release date set - rumour

Super Smash Bros. Wii U has a release date, according to a photo allegedly showing official promotional materials for the game.

Super Smash Bros. Wii U's release date is November 21, according to a photo of a promotional pre-order card doing the rounds on Twitter this weekend thanks to BluesDriveBuster.

From a later tweet, it seems BluesDriveBuster may work at a retailer, and has since been advised that the cards in question can't be displayed.

We can't verify the photo, and Nintendo has made no comment on the alleged leak. It looks pretty legit and makes a lot of sense, though; we've been expected Super Smash Bros. Wii U before the end of the year. That said, the card does note that the date may be subject to change, so perhaps Nintendo hasn't locked it down as firmly as we might hope.

Super Smash Bros. 3DS is coming on October 3. You'll need one of the New 3DS models to use Miiverse and online features with it. A demo is available, but getting hold of codes can be a bit tricky.
