Soon, the PS4 will be able to play Blu-rays in 3D

The PS4's next firmware update, version 1.75, will add 3D Blu-ray support, Sony announced on Twitter today. As the tweet below notes, the firmware update is due next week.

This is better than yesterday's boring little system stability update, and is presumably the one Sony was talking about when it promised PS4 firmware news soon. Still not exactly blowing our socks off, but at least it does something you can register with your eyeballs.

Thanks, DualShockers.
