Panzer General Online goes into open beta, adds new multiplayer mode and tanks

Panzer General Online, the free-to-play browser-based version of the long-running PC series, has gone into open beta.

Co-developed by Ubisoft, Blue Byte and Funatics Software, Panzer General Online contains tactical battles and card collecting.

During Closed Beta the team optimized booster packs mechanics and "fine-tuned the balance" the single-player and multiplayer battles.

New units and command cards were introduced and added Skirmish 2.0 multiplayer mode. The game will be supported by new content releases through Open Beta and into launch.

All players who participated during the Closed Beta will receive two exclusive tanks, one for the US army and one for the German army.
