Bit.Trip Presents Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien is one year old, and has sold 1,046,964 units, developer Gaijin Games announced today.

To celebrate both these things, the endless runner sequel is on sale for $5 on Linux, Mac, PC, PlayStation 3, Vita, Wii U and Xbox 360, down from its usual price of $15. The iOS version, Bit.Trip Run, is also on sale at 75% off, or $1.

Gaijin is so excited about all this that’s it’s launched an all new website to celebrate.
