Ragnarok Odyssey ACE releasing in April on PS3 and Vita

Ragnarok Odyssey ACE, a revised and expanded version of the original Ragnarok Odyssey, launches April 1 on PS3 and PS Vita XSEED Games has announced.

Roace

The game can be played with up to four players, supports Cross-Play, and contains new skills, items, and quests, including a new 100-floor dungeon called the Tower of Yggdrasil as well as the Japanese version’s expansion patches such as 1.10 which added daily quests, online rankings, log-in bonuses, random card draws, and special rare random card draws. As previously reported, the game won’t launch with 1.10 but will be made available for free sometime post-launch.

Players with existing Ragnarok Odyssey saves can import their character’s physical appearance, voice, job class, and cards – except for those equipped to clothing at the time of the transfer and neither do cards acquired by “near”. Those who have downloaded any of the original game’s DLC, can bring it over to ACE just by re-downloading it from PlayStation Store.

New Trophies are included and those earned from the original will stay with the original.

The PS3 version will be available through retail and on the PlayStation Store for $39.99. The Vita version comes in two flavors: a limited physical release which features a soundtrack CD containing 25 tracks from Nobuo Uematsu and other artists, for $39.99, and a digital edition without the soundtrack for $34.99.
