Dark Souls 2 Hollow Lullaby trailer discusses death and destiny

Dark Souls 2 has a new trailer available from Bandai Namco. Titled “Hollow Lullaby”, it’s posted below. The From Software-developed title will be available in the Americas on March 11 and on March 14 in Europe for PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC version will release shortly after the console version becomes available.

    Does this mean the “dark” ending was canon, since they’re showing the “dark” ending from DS at 1:03? Not that becoming the dark lord actually was a dark ending, but evidently that is what it is referred to on various game sites concerning DS :P

    i finished dark souls with the dark ending. it was so cool. can´t wait for this. what´s the pc release date now? is it really may? would definitely prefer sooner than that but if not i could live with it.
    does anyone know if coop is implemented in this one? i think i did read something like that. will look into that right now.

    PC Gamer: What are you doing to improve the online side of Dark Souls 2? Will it be easier for friends to find each other, for example?

    Tanimura: We want to maintain the “loose” connections with other players in the online space, and will not have any ways of directly playing with friends, but we do understand the requests for a closer connection amongst friends, and so we will add elements such as items to narrow in your co-op partners, and also add voice chat in specific situations.

    that’s exactly what i wanted :)
