Tales of Asteria coming to Android & iOS, is series cross-over, trailer inside

Tales of Asteria has been announced for Android and iOS devices by publisher Namco Bandai, and it bring together classic characters from across the JRPG series.

Gematsu reports that Tales of Asteria will see six warriors - Cress, Lloyd, Luke, Yuri, Sophie, and Tales of Xillia hero Milla Maxwell - band together to resolve a conflict over star fragments. According to a cryptic blurb out of Namco, the fragments can make people's wishes come true.

Tales of Asteria's opening cinematic is being developed by Wit Studio, which previously worked on Attack on Titan, while Japanese rock and pop group Do As Infinity is singing the game’s theme song.

The RPG will use a tap-based "“cross slide battle” interface and launches in Japan this spring. You can sign up for the game in advance over at the Tales of Asteria site. Pre-registration will unlock Milla Maxwell once the game launches.
