The Walking Dead: Season Two screenshot shows another returning face

Monday, 2nd December 2013 04:28 GMT By Brenna Hillier

The Walking Dead fans got a bit of a treat today when Telltale Games released a new screen shot from Season Two confirming at least one more returning character. Hit the break if you’d like to know who else survived the events of Season One.

As you can see in the image below, Omid makes a return in the second season. Omid and his girlfriend Christa are the only two characters whose survival seemed likely at the end of the fifth and final episode of the first season, and fans have speculated that they may have been the human figures Clementine spots in the distance in the game’s closing moments. In some players’ saves, former protagonist Lee will have requested Christa and Omid care for Clementine, who stars in the second season.

TellTale staff had a fine time on Twitter today teasing this reveal before finally dropping the screen.

The first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two is called All That Remains, and it’s coming to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime this month. Other platforms will almost certainly follow.

i had requested that omid and christa take care of her somewhere in the country (away from cities). here’s hoping the narrative remains as strong as the first season.
main gripe, the game engine, or whatever causes all the stuttering. they had better have that fixed, no excuse for that when it’s not rendering as much, or at as high of a resolution, as some larger titles

They didn’t do that with Sam & Max. They’ll run seasons for as long as they think they can keep it interesting, then they’ll stop and turn their sights elsewhere. Thus is the Telltale way. They don’t milk IPs and beat dead horses, that’s not what they do.

So this may get two, even four seasons if they think they can get enough of an interesting plot out of it, then it’ll be done.

@3 – Don’t you think a game like this is a bit different from a COD?

This is more like an interactive TV series. As long as the writing and acting stay on par, then I don’t see a problem with yearly or even biannual releases.

Glad it’s not that stupid kid Ben. I should have shot him in the woods.

“I found this hatchet just sitting in a door blocking zombies from getting in.” Fuck you Ben. I’m gonna drop you from a height that will kill you later.
