PlayStation 4’s first mandatory, post-launch system software update drops today.
According to the PlayStation Blog, version 1.51 is a minor update, but has a number of effects, including improvements to system stability.
There is one meaningful change to the UI, though; it will now show when you’re downloading a game and attendant patch at the same time. Golly.
North American PS4 consoles ship with automatic downloads switched on by default, so the console should retrieve the update while waiting in stand-by mode.
