Minecraft creator Notch appears on US chat show, watch him here

Minecraft creator and Mojang founder Notch appeared on The Late Late Show in the US last night. Watch his interview with host Craig Ferguson here.

Thanks to Ivan “RZN” Ivas for the clip.

In it, Markus “Notch” Persson talks about Minecraft and rambles about Mario Kart’s rubber-banding while eating chocolate coins with the host. He also touches on Mojang’s independence.

What do you think of the interview?

So good to see an indie dev getting so much spotlight, I honestly don’t think we can actually call Minecraft indie anymore.

I love the Late Late Show, Craig Ferguson is amazing. This interview honestly didn’t flow very well, got a bit awkward at points xD still nice to see him on there though!

I watched it last night, surprised to see Craig still on television. He came across as being high the entire episode, and generally not giving a fuck. Also, Kat Dennings looked scrumptious.

Notch… What a silly billy. Fancy putting your head on upside down before a TV interview…

What’s wrong with Notch? He’s trying to keep it going. Ferguson is just ruining everything by asking the worlds most boring questions.

“So uh… You still live in Sweden?”

Way to go Craig. You’ll get the Tonight Show eventually.

I think Craig Ferguson is best when the guest is female. Just watch him with Kristen Bell, for example.

The rare exceptions with males are when he’s with someone who has a good sense of humour, like Seth MacFarlane or Russel Brand . Jeff Goldblum has been quite interesting too.

Anyway, this was awkward, but you can’t blame Craig or Notch, they come from totally different worlds.
