    This game can get perfect scores from every site in the universe for all i care. This is not the game i wanted from Sega so they can keep it.

    i preordered it and my copy has been dispatched today but i actually thought about cancelling or returning the game (for now). not that i don´t want to play it – i will buy it at some point. but i swim in unfinished games. it´s really really bad. haven´t even turned on the ps3 in months. playing wiiu and 3ds a lot atm. actually haven´t really looked into fire emblem yet. really want to start playing a shin megami tensei 3ds reboot on 3ds too (IV isn´t out in europe yet unfortunately), haven´t played project x zone, code of princess, steamworld dig. zelda and mario 3dwörld in november…now there´s pokemon too.
    give me a break!
    i mean SERIOUSLY!

    @Poly

    Project x Zone isn’t especially deep, but damn! Do those 2D sprites and super moves look good! Really good fan service.

    @8 Its safe to skip Code of princess. It suffers from slowdown, terrible voice acting and just is not that much fun. Also the online part is dead.

    project X Zone: : i played the demo and it was really funny :) yea, it seems like it could have been something so much more but it also looks like it´s a fun pick up and play game with some crazy (or disturbing?) moments -like ulala´s appearance in the demo -so cheesy, haha. will definitely play this one.

    edit:
    @dizzy+monkeyG: i´m on the fence about COP (lol)
    gameplaywise it looks solid. wish there was a demo. i actually wait for a pricedrop, it´s 29.99 euro atm which is fair but i smell a pricedrop soon. like i said, it´s not that i don´t have anything to play atm.

    @Dave,
    34-35 is an equivalent of 7-7.5 (roughly) in Famitsu. As you can see in this list too, its rather common to get 32-35 range. Its the most common range in Famitsu. Hardly glowing :P

    Yeah Dave, change the headline you idiot.

    Also, go back and change the ‘Soul Sacrifice’ headline while your at it:

    @12 Project X Zone really starts to drag halfway the game though. Its 50 missions long and nearly every single one is “kill all the bad guys” which gets boring real fast.
    Also the demo’s pretty much cover all the game has to offer gameplay mechanics wise.

    A price drop for CoP would be nice. I certainly regret dropping 29.99 on it. lol

    @16: thanks for sharing your impressions. i will play those two but yeah, maybe they should be pushed more towards the ending of my list. those two are definitely contenders for price drops. i could pick them up then.

    lets hope the game won’t suck on the 3DS

    i’m not going to buy a Wii U and the last sonic game on the 3DS was one of the cheapest ports i’ve ever seen

    Dragon swooping in with the Damage control! Sonic got a 36/40 from Famitsu not a 34 or 35.

    LOL, this dude isn’t a gamer, hes more worried about review scores and sales than actually playing good games.

    I’m getting Sonic Lost World day one.

    @13 Maybe I’m missing something, but the game got 8′s and 9′s from all reviewers, so obviously 32 – 35 *isn’t* 7 – 7.5. That would 28 – 30.

    I’d say all 8s and 9s is pretty glowing.

    Still, I will never understand the media’s obsession with Famitsu’s review. I can understand people wanting to see how Japan interprets our favourite hobby, but the Famitsu magazine itself is little more than a giant promotional rag. Its reviews are barren and of extremely very poor quality, and the “out of 40″ thing is just a really scewed system.

    @21 Give it a rest dude. Disagree with people opinions and share why, fine, but stop turning every second comment into a personal criticism.

    I fear what you will do with your life when Wii U bites the dust.

    Oh whatever, you comment just to rile others. Have a cookie for wasting your life like that.

    @22,
    Look at other reviews. 8s and 9s are pretty common in Famitsus reviews. You can see that every week at Japanese gaming sites.

    @23 I already commented on my opinion of the magazine’s reviews in the rest of my post. That doesn’t change the fact that they’re great scores for what looks to be a very good game.

    Sonic is… on a roll.

    It’s great to see Wii U exclusives getting recognition. So far Pikmin 3, Zelda Wind Waker HD and Sonic Lost World seem to be excellent games. Hopefully Super Mario 3D World follows the same route.

    This should be a solid holiday season for the Wii U.
