Knack gamescom screenshots prep you for its PS4 release

Wednesday, 21st August 2013 02:05 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Knack has some new screenshots available below, showing off the collaborative development between PS4 system architect Mark Cerny and Sony Japan Studio. While the game may look like it will appeal to a younger audience, Sony is going more for a “nostalgic” approach with it and it comes with a hard difficulty setting in order to challenge the more “core” players. Regardless, it’s cute. Knack is a PS4 launch title.

I’m not sure why but something just seems off with this game.Don’t get me wrong it looks pretty and all that but the game-play seems lacking(of what they have shown at least).

@1 I completely agree, from I’ve seen it’s just missing something. Although all I’ve ever heard from editorial writers is that it’s an exceptional game and is surprisingly fun.

The character is fugly, that’s the most unappealing thing.
By the way, from this shots it starts to look like a next gen game, something it didn’t at reveal and E3

These screens show the graphics off a lot better than previous clips and screens. The levels also look a bit more open and diverse – so I’m quite liking it.
