    Impossible. While it’s not THAT great looking, companies have ALWAYS used the PC version to show off the footage of gameplay.

    @1, of course not. It’s a PC footage.

    I was expecting more, that didn’t really impress me.
    Hopefully we get some better video of gameplay than that soon.

    @13: I know, but Bethesda is publishing both and according to the developer the game would’ve been completed last year if it wasn’t for Bethesda.

    I got 20/20 vision Legendarychicken. It looks just like every other shooter. Please explain to me what this game is doing differently over other shooters?

    @19: You continue this shit and you definitely will be banned.

    @20: … well, you can laser stuff into pieces.

    A shooter is a shooter, you shoot stuff. This will likely never change, so i suggest finding another genre.

    OFcourse, add in RPG elements etc, and this changes, but then we’re not talking about pure FPS anymore.

    @Francis
    Jesus, buy yourself a sense of humour :D Each FPS game is different from others in some way and i dislike people like you generalising it as “looking all the same” not all FPS games are clones of COD/Battlefield.

    maybe they can add a dlc later where you jump on turtles

    A little interested in the story, but are those really the graphics? I know they said not to expect a huge leap in graphical fidelity in the next gen consoles, but theres no difference whatsoever.

    #24 2 years ago
  25. Richenbaum

    It’s not really a next gen game. Hence it being on the ps3 and 360. There are going to be a few games like this that will be available on both current gen and next gen during the transition period.

    @Legendarysidestep

    I only laugh when something is funny….

    Each FPS is not different, there all the same. Hold L Trigger – Press Right Trigger. The game mechanics are so boring now.

    But then again you said Medal of Honor WarFighter was one of your favorite games. So generic first person shooters are right up your alley! :)

    By that logic about controls, all Mario and platformer games are the same. All music games are the same and all eastern fighting games are the same.

    With that said, I AGREE that this one doesn’t look to interesting or unique. The Nazi robot elements feel boring and outside that strange gun shown in the vid, it is nothing like the robot Nazi mayhem that I was hoping for.

    Sidestep? I wonder how many more original nicknames you have in store for me? :) Mechanically? Sure nothings changed, but you said “look the same” so you meant play the same right? or both? MOH: W my favourite game? Thats must be extremely difficult since i don’t own the game :D I said i enjoyed MOH pre MOH: W and like i said in another article everyone enjoys games that other people dislike/hate, everyone is entitled to their opinions.

    This is the type of game I’d buy for a quick blast & trade in later if it wasn’t all that.

    Now what with xbone & Sony’s new DRM/anti-2nd hand, console plans, it’s the type of game I’ll ignore completely.

    #29 2 years ago
  30. Francis O

    That’s why the industry keeps giving us all these shooters. Cause you have people like Legendarysidestep defending them.

    sigh….The next gen of gaming is going to be 90% shooter filled, first and third person.

    The fact that hey have basically confirmed that the game wont have any supernatural elements(something that made the previous games so special) makes me sad.

  32. Richenbaum

    I bet this game alone will sell more than the wii u ;)

    I bet you 20 real life gold bars!

    #32 2 years ago
  33. s7emilio

    @#30

    Indeed. The developers are complaining that they are missing out on a lot of money because of 2nd hand selling. I think that the new DRM-stuff is going to be the nail to the coffin for single player games.

    Not many people are going to buy a full priced singleplayer game and then seeing the end credits after 8 to 10 hours of gameplay.

    You can do that it you have the possibility to sell it for half of the full price 2nd hand.

    And releasing it in the same timeframe as Battlefield & Call of duty I can only imagine this game is gonna sell very bad.

    And gameplay and story wise. This has nothing to do with the old Wolfenstein 3d we all came to love. This looks like garbage.

    #33 2 years ago
  34. Richenbaum

    actually it looks to have more in common with the old Wolfenstein 3D than either of the last 2 games. as good as he last 2 were, the original was mostly regular human soldiers, with a few cyborg/armored bosses, and no supernatural stuff.

    has anyone here even played Hard Reset by the way?

    #34 2 years ago
  35. Lengendaryboss

    @Francis
    Preaching to no-one, very sad isn’t it. I am not “defending” the oversaturation of FPS games i am just saying that people enjoy these games, thats not a crime or should we all play games Francis likes lets see any Nintendo game and nothing else :D The industry gives us FPS games because we have people like me “defending” it? No, no, no your clearly mistaken: The industry has a huge demand for FPS games because people keep buying them until that declines FPS games aren’t going anywhere has nothing to do with people like me “defending” them the latter which makes absolutely no sense from what you said.

    #35 2 years ago
  36. Richenbaum

    and just because there are a lot of crappy generic fps games out there doesn’t mean there are zero good ones

    #36 2 years ago
  37. Francis O

    Legendary you over-think what I said. It’s just part of a bigger problem. But whatever, this has nothing to do with a being on a Nintendo system or not. COD is on the Wii U and I still think that game sucks.

    FPS are all the same, and western developers are going to crash and burn this generation because of all the garbage recycled BS they put out.

    Look at trash like Fuse by EA. No originally, no unique gameplay, just a 3rd person shooter. I would like developers to get more creative with their gameplay.

    I know Warren Spector was saying the same thing about games like this.

    #37 2 years ago
  38. Richenbaum

    Sure just like all Mario and Zelda games are all the same. Because remember those Zelda games for CD-I? They were crap, therefore all Zelda games are clearly crap. You can just ask Warren Spector who became famous after making some first person shooters.

  39. Lengendaryboss

    @Francis
    Oh sorry next time i will underthink your comments. People vote with their wallets when buying games so your opinion about FPS and TPS is clearly irrelevant and just a generalization like i said many times people have different opinions on games.

    Looks like a fun shooter! Destruction is a nice touch.
