Wednesday, 22nd May 2013 22:39 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

A report from the Associated Press indicates that the deal between the NFL and Microsoft for Xbox One is worth $400 million over five years for the NFL.

The deal between the two companies would allow Xbox One users to watch football games and by 2014, tablets as well.

The $400 million figure was tossed out by a person familiar with the agreement, noting that the financial details have not been made public as of yet.

NFL on Xbox One will allow users to watch the games, chat with friends during using Skype, view stats, and get real-time highlights. The NFL option will also update Fantasy Football leagues with players and team stats in real-time on the TV.

Microsoft’s SmartGlass app will also bring the NFL on Xbox to user’s mobile devices.

An NFL football lover’s dream.

This nfl deal is huge. People here pay around $200 for nfl sunday ticket alone. If I can watxh all the games here for less than that, great. Ijust wonder the price

Seems like another huge waste of money for me.

Instead of focusing on games, more and more services/features are added.

Glad Sony focuses on games and still offers some important (and not so important) features.

#4 thats so expensive, didnt know you guys in America get ripped off so hard with TV stuff.

Stream it for free from your PC in HD to your TV=win :)

@ Francis o..mfbb.. I guess 15 exclusives and 8 brand new IPs ain’t enough for u huh? Lol. Wow. I like this deal. It’s a good one. As long as I don’t have to pay for it. My Xbox live service should be enough.
