Fantasy Life: enhanced version announced, launches July

Fantasy Life Link! is an enhanced upgrade of Level-5's town-builder RPG, and it will boost the original game's connectivity considerably. It'll be available as a standalone release or a cheap upgrade for existing owners.

Polygon reports that Fantasy Life Link! will support four-player co-op via friend codes, and a new in-game messaging system. The game's official website will also updated to offer forums for discussion.

The game itself will play home to a brand new island, full of new items, monsters and more. The upgrade launches July 25 in Japan, and will cost ¥4,980 as a standalone game, or ¥2,000 as an add-on for existing users.
