Need for Speed Underground: Criterion nukes reboot rumours

Need for Speed: Underground was rumoured to be getting the reboot treatment under Criterion Games, following an alleged logo leak last week. We called it out as bollocks at the time, but now the studio has performed its own t-bone takedown on the rumour over Twitter.

The below came from Criterion head Alex Ward at the weekend:

So there you go, it’s not happening it seems. Regardless, would you like to see Underground given the reboot treatment, or would you prefer a new Burnout? Let us know below.

    never liked the two NFS from Criterion and thank god that they aren’t making underground and i hope they leave NFS series and return to make some burnout again .

    @1 exactly my thoughts! I don´t like when criterion touches NFS, they should work on their Burnout, because Most wanted the new one was just like it with different skins… boring
