3DS system update revamps eShop and console stability

Nintendo has rolled out a new 3DS system update today, which revamps the online eShop and improves console stability.
Nintendo Life reports that update 5.0.0-11U has changed the eShops visuals and offers the ability to download future software updates in the background. You will also be able to use the console's "download later" function while the Nintendo 3DS is in sleep mod, without having to close the eShop app.
The update is available across Europe and North America now.
