Nintendo and Google have released Wii Street U, a version of Google Maps especially for the Wii U which allows users to conduct virtual tours in their living rooms using the Wii U pad to navigate. If you have access to the Japanese Nintendo network store, you can check it out here – it’s about a 90MB download, according to GoNintendo. Nintendo Everything has a trailer showing off the app, and here’s a picture of Nintendo president Satoru Iwata wearing one of the Google camera rigs used to film narrow spaces, because why not.
