Steam for Linux beta now open to all
Valve has opened the Steam for Linux beta to all comers. In a brief announcement post, the developer provided a series of useful links. Grab the Ubuntu client here; browse the 39 compatible games here; participate in the community here; and report any issues here. The beta was heralded by the sudden appearance of system requirements last week.
Thanks, Blue’s News.

Good news! Although having available only Valve and Introversion games isn’t enough. Well, it’s enough for now, it’s a good start but in the long run..
