Orgarhythm arrives on US PSN a week ahead of schedule

Well, here’s a turn up for the books; XSEED appears to have brought forward the release date of musical strategy hybrid Orgarhythm, meaning you can get your alarmingly sticky paws on it later today.

We were expecting the tactical rhythm action effort in next week’s PlayStation Store update, but a note on the PS Blog advises it’s due today.

As the video below explains, to play Orgarhythm, you issue commands in a sequence of four inputs. Tap to open the menu; tap to select a warrior type from various elemental kinds; tap to select an attack type; then drag to point the attack in a particular direction – all on the beat.

It’ll set you back $30 and hails from one of the veterans of the Space Channel 5 team. A demo is expected soon; no word on European release yet but cross your fingers.
