XCOM: Enemy Unknown PC patch unlocks HD movies
Wondering why the cinematics in XCOM: Enemy Unknown aren’t doing justice to your fancy pants HD monitor? Fret not, friends; Firaxis has issued a patch for the PC version which corrects this minor cosmetic issue. Any movies should now present in glorious 1080p HD, as nature and your chosen settings dictate. For more informaiton on the update, visit Steam’s patch notes.
Thanks, Shack News.

If they made one mistake with the game it is the fucking cinematics. Do they really needed to make them all in bik-format? Couldn’t they made them ingame?
It’s fucking ridiculous, the game is about 13 GB big, 8 GB is wasted for the cinematics alone. That’s just stupid.

What was in there didn’t even bother me. This game completely took me by surprise. I had no idea I would love it as much as I do.
Sorry Dishonored but so far you are in clear second place for me from this weekend.
