The Walking Dead: Episode 4 – Telltale looking into issues with corrupt and missing save files

Thursday, 11th October 2012 20:32 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Telltale is looking to issues with The Walking Dead: Episode 4 – Around Every Corner.

Some users are reporting corrupt save files on PS3, deleted save files on Steam, and some Xbox 360 users are reporting the same issue.

It doesn’t seem to be widespread, but Telltale has said it is “definitely looking” into the matter, and  is “taking it seriously.”

As of now, the team hasn’t been able to reproduce the issues in-house, but will post updates on the forums when it has more information.

Good to know it’s not just me. It would NOT use my main save, everytime I’d select it, it would ask if i wanted to start a new random story because it wasn’t showing i had any progress.

Tried completely reinstalling (Xbox 360), still did the same. Finally gave up and redid all chapters 1-3 so i could play 4. It never forgot my achievements from 1-3 though.

I suspect this is the same issue most others are having. Strange they aren’t finding anything in-house.
