Wii U to launch on November 30 in EU

Wii U will launch on November 30 in the EU, Nintendo said today.

The news came as part of day-long Nintendo webcasts, full details of which can be found here.

No pricing was set on the European version of the console, with Nintendo telling punters to instead check with individual retailers.

Emerging prices are setting Wii U at anywhere between £210-£280. Both a Basic and Premium pack will be sold in Europe.

A full line-up of EU software was also confirmed.

Yeah, good job Nintendo!

Software lineup doesn’t look great though (apart from Rayman Legends).

Amazon just updated and says: £199 for the basic.

Update: It was just pulled from the listings so this may change.

Blimey that’s my low end – impressed possibly. No news on pack-in of Nintendo Land?

I’d imagine since the American version of the Premium is $50 more expensive it would work out around the £250 area.

Excellent ta. Thought that must be the case as no shops had pre-orders for it.

It’s no longer available at that price. They may have jumped the gun a little.
